Just joined. Yes, I'm an incurable Bebop fan. Love the music, and the show. Not much else to say, I guess.

Hello and Welcome

I started with the Bebop music before I ever watched the Anime, I have always liked that style of music and a friend let clued me to the music then I started watching the Anime.

Hee! Thanks for the welcome. I'm the opposite, I'm afraid. Never knew anything about Bebop except the experiences I had back in the late 90's working in ordering for an on-line superstore. And all I knew, was that the DVDs and VHSs were released later than anticipated, and there were -alot- of upset people.

Then I was suffering insomnia one night, and out of boredom watched adult swim....

The rest is history. ^^;;

I would like to thank my mother of all people, she was in her early 20’s in the best part of the 1960’s. I grew up cutting my reading teeth on people Jack Kerouac and Hunter S. Thompson. SO I went from what they had written to the music of the time they had written in then found the whole beatnik scene of the mid to late 1950’s and really got in to the music. It was pretty funny when most of the people my age where into Quite Riot and Madonna I was in to music that had been written and grew in the rock-folk music of the 1960’s

Sweetness! I was too young during the 60s to actually live them...so needless to say, I actually remember them.

I raised my kids (the oldest being 21) with an understanding of the culture at the time. I think it made them more "rounded".

Of course, it has its down side. Like getting glared at when my kids are humming a tune stuck in their head, and then suddenly realize its "Ohio", or "Blowin' in the Wind" or some other protest song. *LOL*
